JOB FUNCTION:
Location: Lakewood, CO Job Type: Six Month Contract-To-Hire Must be USA Citizen or Green Card. Unable to sponsor H1B's at this time.
PERM / FULL TIME HIRE
Start Date: Immediate
As a member of the SAP Basis team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of a large SAP production environment consisting of ECC 6.0, Enterprise Portal 7.0, PI 7.1, BI 7.0, and Solution Manager 7.0.
Responsibilities include:
* Work with hosting organization team to manage and maintain systems at the OS and DB level
* Administer the SAP Landscape including client/instance setup and periodic environment refreshes (sandbox, dev, QA, etc)
* Provide general technical support of the SAP process/configuration and development teams
* Performing ongoing middleware and BASIS setup and configuration as needed.
* Execute standard operating procedures for the SAP environment
* Perform tasks to ensure optimal SAP system performance including application monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning thru CCMS tools
* Manage TMS and execute transports as required
* Perform regular reviews of daily/weekly/monthly background jobs.
* Apply SAP support packs as required and perform upgrades as requested
* Apply OSS notes as needed * Set and administer SAP print services and queues
* Support integration of 3rd party applications into the SAP landscape
* Sabrix
* Evaluates EarlyWatch reports and recommends appropriate changes based upon those reports
* Provide after-hours and weekend support on a rotating basis
Required Knowledge & Skills:
* At least 3 years experience within an SAP environment.
* Prefer experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations
* Familiarity working in an externally hosted environment
* Experience managing ABAP and JAVA stacks are required
* Must have significant experience in ECC 6.0, SAP PI. This should include PI tuning and monitoring.
* SAP Certification a plus * Prior Oracle and AIX Systems Administration experience preferred
* Strong teambuilding skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with others
* Excellent written and verbal business communication
* Local to Denver metropolitan area
* Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
