TEG is seeking the following candidates for our TEG Global telecommunications client:
1) *Canadian citizens and Green Card Holders and those authorized to work in Canada are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor H1b candidates at this time*
2) Contract terms are approximately 24 months (client has the option to hire TEG consultants after 6 months with no hire on fee to end client).
3) Contracts are to start approximately 2 weeks from now (placing them at start of May 1, 2010 approximately).
4) TEG will seek out 1 strong resource (can range from junior to senior), which will work onsite at the client in Toronto, Ontario
5) Client prefers to have all local resources
6) All TEG provided resources will be recognized as clients, and to their outsourcing end client. TEG will remain transparent to end client.
8) The systems the consultants will be working on are already in place. This will be production support with 24 x 7 on call support. There will be consultant rotation taking place.
9) Consultants will be and have: Openwave Products: Preferably Email MX platform
10) Prefer candidates with previous Openwave product knowledge and experience or past telecommunications wireless networking experience. Cisco and BIG IP F5 load balancing
Desired for this Systems Engineer role:
Do you know TCP/IP protocol implementation?
Do you know LDAP?
Do you have the ability to write requirements and design documents
Do you have the Ability to write test plans and execute test cases ?
Desired: Any wireless industry experience in your past? Do you have Knowledge of SMS and/or MMS?
Do you have Handset protocols and handset interoperability testing is a plus How strong is your SMS?
